We’re having a WHALE of a time at Northies this winter!
The colder weather doesn’t mean you have to hibernate indoors – take advantage of the cooler months. We’ve got plenty to do around Cronulla and Northies to keep you entertained.
As the months become colder, Sydney Harbour has become the home to more than 20,000 whales as they make their annual migration north for warmer waters.
One advantage of living in the Shire is its coastal border allowing it to have many vantage points to view these majestic creatures.
Cape Solander, only a 15 minute drive from Northies Hotel, is one of the best vantage points to capture a glimpse of these whales. The whales have been known to swim as close as 200m to the coast!
Join us for an early lunch (kitchen opens at 10am) and then head on down to Cape Solander to check out the whales! Our Cape Solander pizzas (how fitting!) are the perfect pre whale watching food.
With a new season, come a new menu to keep you warm. Think hearty pastas, wholesome burgers and delicious Italian inspired pizzas.
Our chicken and mushroom fettucine or slow cooked lamb pappardelle will definitely keep you full and satisfied this winter.
Our brand new Cape Solander Supreme Northies pizza complete with pepperoni, capsicum, mushroom, olives, bacon, spring onions, pineapple and cheese is a prefect winter meal and already a hot favourite.
